Happy Holidays everyone! With Thanksgiving being at the end of this week all the holiday madness is in the air, and you know what Thanksgiving means, we got to start Christmas shopping. It’s honestly just around the corner, so I wanted to put together a few gift ideas for you to give to your significant other. Andy and I have been together for 4 years now and with all of the holidays and birthday celebrations it can be hard to give one another unique gifts that we haven’t done in the past. I did my best to list a suggestion for just about every kind of gift, with a good range of prices. Listed below are some of the gifts that are always winners. Especially when you have absolutely no idea where to even start.
MAKE THEM SMELL GOOD
So, this first gift is a common one, but it’s always a great idea. Cologne is actually one of the first gifts I ever got Andy. It makes them smell clean and fresh which is a good idea, because ya know, hygiene. But the best part is that YOU get to choose the scent, so it’s something you will enjoy being around. My go to cologne for guys is Gucci Guilty. 
It smells incredible, I would explain it, but I’m terrible at describing aromas and probably wouldn’t do it justice My best advice when it comes to colognes is to smell them before you buy them, even though I’m suggesting one to you, it might not be your taste. So the best thing you can do you for your man, and for yourself, is to go into Nordstrom or Sephora and take the time to find what the perfect scent is for you!
THEY’LL ALWAYS BE ON TIME
Something that you can NEVER go wrong with is a watch. Go for something that fits their personal style, that way they’ll get more use out of it (and never have an excuse for not being on time). I personally love the look of MVMT watches. I love the way they look 
because they are clean and stylish, but also look professional. You wear them as an everyday watch, or you can dress up the outfit and the watch doesn’t look too casual or like it doesn’t belong. Andy has one that he always wears, and it looks good with just about any outfit because it is so simple! The brand is super diverse, and they have a wide selection of different styles and different strap colors and strap materials. You can totally get it customized to their personal style, and what you think they would prefer. Bottom line, this brand created the perfect blend of everyday wear and professional wear, so you truly can’t go wrong with gifting one of these watches. Side note – they also have women’s watches that are just as cute and customizable, so while your buying gifts you can go ahead and treat yourself to something too!

GET CREATIVE
This next gift can go either way, it can be light hearted and crafty, or it can be sentimental and meaningful. PERSONALIZED STOCKINGS! If you wanted a gift that is a little more on the serious side, you can create his and hers personalized stockings with the intention of sharing your first Christmas together in your first place together, or for a couple who has intentions of moving in together in the near future. Or you can just get this gift just because it is so cute. You can get these at Pottery Barn online, and maybe in store, but I am not really sure about that part. Online you can choose from a variety of their stocking styles, and then add the name of your hunny! You can make this the main gift, and then stuff it with their favorite candy and/or favorite snacks. Or maybe with other little things they enjoy! For Andy, I would probably put in a Lululemon t-shirt, socks, a gift card to a nice steakhouse, and maybe a baseball hat of his favorite sports team. You could truly stuff it with whatever fits!
MAKE THEM LOOK GOOD
Clothes are always a given in my eyes when it comes to the holidays! Most boys don’t know or care how they dress themselves. So, buying them clothes that you think will help their style is a great gift. Around this time of year when I am buying gifts for Andy, I normally gravitate towards buying him something warm since it is so cold where we go to school. I would get him something from Patagonia, or snow boots, or a parka. The key is to get something they would wear often! If you have a guy that’s into sports, I would go with buying them a jersey from their favorite team. You can never go wrong with anything related to their favorites!
TAKE THEM ON AN ADVENTURE
A gift more along the lines of quality over quantity is to plan a mini get-away. It doesn’t have to be something huge or expensive. It can honestly be a 2-hour road trip to somewhere relatively close to home. In Washington there are so many places that are perfect for mini get-away. You could go to clue Coeur d’Alene or Vancouver, Canada or even to the coast. You can get a decently priced Airbnb in that area for a day or two. And just have a fun little vacation with one another without breaking your bank!
KEEP THEIR FEET COZY
UGG slippers or any nice quality slippers would be perfect for a guy and they’d were them more often than you’d think! A good quality pair Is key because you could buy a $20 pair, but they won’t last a month. This is something to really invest in because of the wear they’ll get out of them. Trust me they’ll appreciate this one. Nordstrom has a variety of different slippers both UGG, and other great brands!
FOR THE MUSIC LOVER
Every guy would definitely use a portable speaker to take with them! This is nice so they can listen to their music anywhere they go! The Beats by Dr.Dre speaker is great, I’ve had mine for a few years and it has I have not had any problems with it. I feel like everyone can use a speaker in their life so if your man doesn’t have one yet he would love this gift. He would
constantly be using it!
SUNNIES
I know it’s winter time and in Washington the sun isn’t really going to come back out for a few more months. BUT, sunglasses, I think, are a staple to have. I am also a sunglasses lover and have about 9 pairs so this gift might not be for everyone. Sunglass Hut has really great styles and an amazing variety of sunglasses. There’s something for every face structure and something that fits everyone’s personal style!
MAKE THEIR ROOM COZY!
Boys don’t really know a whole lot about décor (at least not my boy). They decorate with Lebron James posters on their walls. So making their room cozier would be perfect for the winter time! This can be anything and it doesn’t have to be expensive! This could be a throw blanket from Costco that’s fuzzy and really great quality! It could also be a picture of you two in a nice frame to make their room intimate and their own. A really
great gift for a guy’s room is a diffuser! You can get these for super inexpensive at Marshalls or Target! The essential oils sometimes come with them or you buy them separately. You can pick and choose the scent you want. Diffusers truly make an entire house smell amazing!
