I have been getting really antsy for warm weather! By warm weather I mean at least 50 degrees. I am so ready for the spring and summer. Since I am so over my winter clothes at this point, I decided to make my first spring post today, (as it’s currently dumping snow) and share some super fun spring items that I’ve purchased within the last few weeks!
I’ve noticed that I’ve been gravitating towards yellows. I picked up a top and a midi dress from Forever21 in this fun color. The top is very, very cropped. So, unless I had abs of steal, I will not be wearing them without high-waisted, jeans or shorts! It has a cute polka dot pattern. The sleeves are my favorite since they flare out, just makes the top dainty, and very girly!
The midi dress is a little more of a bright, more mustard, yellow color with brown buttons! I paired this dress with some vans to make it relaxed and easy. It can totally be dressed up too, with some really cute sandals or even heels! This would be the perfect dress to wear to a wedding in the spring and summer! I fell in love with this length of dress. I’ve never owned a midi dress because I felt like I couldn’t pull of that length, but it is so comfortable and super cute on, so I am definitely going to pick up more dresses in this length for the spring!
I also picked up some gingham leggings, they are a little out there for my style, but I have gotten so many compliments on them! This pattern has been such a huge trend for a while and I don’t see it going anywhere anytime soon. Forever21 has some super affordable ones and that’s where I picked mine up! They’re super comfy. Basically, they’re just like leggings except you look trendy, which is right up my alley because if it’s comfortable and looks like I’m trying that’s perfect!
Another spring favorite is a wrap dress. They’re a must for the spring time! And you can dress them up or down to your preferred style! You can wear some super cute booties with them or some strappy heels. To dress it down, and for a more casual look, Adidas or Vans would look great with a wrap dress. I picked up a super girly wrap dress from Forever21. I paired the flirty red wrap dress with some white booties. These dresses are so incredibly easy to throw on and it’ll make you look put together, even if you really aren’t. They’re a huge trend for the upcoming warmer months!
The last thing I want to share with y’all is the sheer top that I was actually gifted for Christmas and I am in LOVE with it. Sheer tops are SO fun. You can wear them to go to lunch with a tank underneath or be more risk-ay and wear it out with a fun bralette! This is such a fun trend for the spring!
